I was educated and trained using traditional mediums like pencil, paper, paint, and canvas. Now, the majority of my work is digital. The works on this site are all created using my own photography and digital manipulation techniques. I'm inspired by elements of nature and naturally occurring textures and patterns. Each of these pieces begins as a photograph of one or more natural elements. I then manipulate the image into one of a series of patterns I've devised.
